AMS Telescoping Auger Kit

These soil auger kit configurations measure 5' 4" in length when not extended. They are designed for easy transport and storage and include one (1) 18" telescopic cross handle, one (1) inner extension, one (1) outer extension, one (1) soil auger (regular, mud, or sand), and three (3) spring pins. The spring pins are used to lock the cross handle, extensions, and soil auger together.

To improve the performance of this auger, an optional 18" ratchet cross handle can be ordered. Additional soil augers can be purchased separately. The auger included in this kit features a carbon steel bail, stainless steel cylinder, and high-carbon steel blades with a tungsten carbide hardened edge. The cross handle and extensions are made of chromoly steel.

Note: Telescopic soil auger sets include an inner extension that allows the sampler to extend from 4' to 8' with the simplicity of a push pin! (Achievable depth depends on soil conditions.)
