Wide Range The versatile Extech TM500 thermometer is designed to take temperature measurements using six different types of thermocouples (J, K, E, T, R, S), allowing the user to measure temperatures ranging from -148 to 2372 °F (-100 to 2602.0 °F).
	Simultaneous Readings The TM500's large display shows CH1 to CH8 or CH9 to CH12 at any given time. Although not all at once on the screen, all 12 readings can be recorded in excellent format (with date and time) on the included SD card.
Highly Functional The easy-to-use indoor/outdoor TM500 thermometer features user-programmable sampling rates (1 to 3600 seconds) to suit the current application. Additionally, the device's internal memory can store 99 readings, a real benefit when the included SD card is full.
	Accurate Readings The TM500 digital thermometer uses offset settings for zero function or when taking relative measurements.

¿Necesita determinar qué tan clara es el agua? Mida la turbidez o el grado de visibilidad del agua que está analizando con el disco limnológico secchi. Los resultados no tienen sentido si no son repetibles y no se pueden comparar.

El disco de plástico resistente Secchi cumple cómodamente con los estándares de la industria. Tiene 200 mm de diámetro (7-7/8”) y tiene cuatro cuadrantes, dos blancos y dos negros. Se incluyen 20 metros de línea de 1/8” de diámetro en una forma de espuma de poliestireno que flotará si se cae al agua. Más instrucciones que están escritas en un nivel básico.

La mayoría de los científicos usan un disco de Secchi para determinar el índice de materia suspendida en el agua. Cuanto más pequeño es el índice, digamos cinco pies, más material suspendido hay. El agua es, obviamente, menos transparente, con menor grado de visibilidad.

También puede utilizar un disco Secchi para medir la profundidad de penetración de la luz y obtener una estimación aproximada de la extensión de la zona litoral.

Tenga en cuenta que esta unidad está diseñada solo para uso ocasional de los estudiantes y no pretende reemplazar los discos Secchi profesionales.
