Auxiliary braking device that allows the use of ZIGZAG and ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical Prusiks on single ropes, providing continuous additional friction during descents and ensuring smooth rope sliding during ascents.

The additional Chicane brake allows the use of ZIGZAG and ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical Prusiks with a single rope. It provides permanent additional braking during descent. The excellent grip of the assembly, Chicane and mechanical Prusik, ensures smooth rope circulation through the brake during ascent. The ergonomic handle provides excellent grip and facilitates movement when returning from the branch. Thanks to the closing side plate, installation is easy and quick.

• Used with an Am’D or OK carabiner (not included). The H-profile of the carabiner, combined with the mechanical Prusik's attachment sleeve, provides excellent grip of the assembly, Chicane and mechanical Prusik, ensuring smooth rope circulation through the brake during ascent.
• Ergonomic handle that facilitates movement when returning from the branch.

• Closing side plate that allows easy and quick installation on the rope.
• Triple-action unlocking to limit the risk of unintentional opening of the side plate.
• Connects to the upper hole of the mechanical Prusik.
• Optimized durability, thanks to the two friction pins, available as spare parts.
• The Chicane allows work in compliance with the ANSI Z133 standard.
