Davis Ultraviolet Sensor for Accurate UV Monitoring

Professional-grade ultraviolet sensor delivering precise UV index and exposure data. Ideal for weather stations, research applications, and safety monitoring environments.

The Davis Ultraviolet Sensor measures the sunburning portion of the UV spectrum with high accuracy. It enables you to display UV index, dose rate, and both daily and accumulated UV dose. Designed for demanding environments, it provides reliable data for meteorology, agriculture, research, and public safety.

A multi-layer optical filter ensures a spectral response that closely matches the Erythema Action Spectrum, while the precision diffuser provides excellent cosine response. Its two-piece housing minimizes heating caused by solar radiation and allows natural convection cooling, preventing dust or water from being trapped inside. The UV sensor includes a built-in level and a 2′ (0.6 m) cable for straightforward installation.

This model is compatible with both the original Vantage Pro and Vantage Pro2 weather stations. It comes already included with Vantage Pro Plus and Vantage Pro2 Plus packages.
