For longer distances or to improve reception in troublesome areas, add one or more wireless repeaters. Each repeater can transmit and receive up to 300 m outdoors, line of sight; typical range through walls under most conditions is 60 to 120 m. Each repeater includes a solar panel, regulator circuit, and rechargeable battery.

Up to eight repeaters can be used with a single wireless station, or a network of weather stations can be formed by linking eight repeaters to eight different wireless stations. Compatible with Vantage Pro2 and Vantage Vue only; not compatible with the original Vantage Pro.
