Extensions made of high-quality stainless steel, chrome molybdenum steel, or chrome-plated, with 5/8" threaded connection or quick-release aircraft-grade chrome molybdenum connection. Maximum strength and minimal torque for tough soil sampling conditions. It is recommended to assemble up to 9 meters of extensions. The outer diameter of the extensions is 2.2 cm.

The chrome molybdenum steel extensions are part of the Signature series, which also feature a yellow zinc coating for corrosion resistance.
