Protective Case for AudioMoth Dev with GPS & Auxiliary Board Mount

The AudioMoth Dev Case protective housing is an injection-molded, waterproof case for the AudioMoth Dev, allowing a fully flexible hardware configuration with integrated mounts and slots that enable the use of external microphones, GPS, high-capacity batteries, and custom auxiliary boards.

The protective case is designed for simple installation, featuring two latches that compress a replaceable O-ring gasket. It is robust enough to withstand long-term deployments in remote locations, made of durable polycarbonate with a molded rain hood and a waterproof acoustic vent that helps protect the internal microphone.

On the front of the protective case, there is a rectangular label area measuring 6.25 x 2.95 cm (62.5 x 29.5 mm).

The bottom of the protective case features an M16 cap that can be replaced to allow the installation of external cable glands for plug-in powered (PIP) external microphones or hydrophones.

On the back of the protective case, there are two Velcro straps that enable secure mounting in the field. Located between the latches is a security eyelet designed to deter tampering with the device.
