    The LaMotte Environmental Test Kit for Chlorine uses the octet comparator method with the DPD tablet method based on the DPD indicator. Two tablet reagents distinguish free and combined chlorine, covering a comparator range of 0.2 to 3.0 ppm (values: 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, and 3.0 ppm). The kit allows for 50 tests each for free and total chlorine. Each test takes one to three minutes. EPA accepted for NPDWR compliance monitoring.
