To customize the microscope for your viewing comfort, the interpupillary distance can be easily adjusted using a Siedentopf precision mechanism. Dioptric adjustment is available on both eyepieces to compensate for asymmetry, and the eyepiece tubes have a 30° angle for comfortable seated use without neck strain. The 23mm photographic port is height-adjustable to align with the eyepieces and can be replaced with an optional CX series C-mount port featuring built-in reduction for direct interaction with C-mount cameras.

The objective turret provides instant access to 4 levels of magnification, making it easy to focus on intricate details from 40X to 2500X. This covers the necessary magnifications for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to enhance resolution and color accuracy.

The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examining specimen slides. Low stage position controls are conveniently located near the coaxial focus knobs for optimized workflow. Specimen slide examination is intuitive and accurate for users at any level. Halogen lighting beneath the stage delivers bright illumination with excellent color reproduction. Warm lighting is more suitable for extended use and causes less visual fatigue compared to LED and fluorescent lighting. The Abbe condenser has a high numerical aperture of 1.25 for oil immersion and an iris diaphragm to optimize contrast and depth of field. The condenser support uses rack and pinion movement for precise height adjustment.
