The Ruggedized Storm Sewer Light Trap Model 519.55 was developed in collaboration with entomologists from the Harris County Mosquito Control Division (Texas, USA) to capture primarily female Culex quinquefasciatus in storm sewer systems. Built with an almost indestructible ABS plastic body and lid, and aluminum, stainless steel, and bronze components, it offers exceptional durability in demanding conditions. Its robust and versatile design allows it to operate both above ground and underground, making it ideal for vector control and monitoring programs.
