The LR-24 Backpack Electrofisher from Smith-Root was developed in collaboration with fisheries scientists to provide a lightweight, safe, and efficient solution for fish sampling. With 400 W of continuous power and precise digital controls, this unit enables fast in-field setup, storage of custom settings, and real-time monitoring of electrical output.

Among its many innovations are the quick setup system, dual outputs, overload protection modes, advanced safety features, monitoring of voltage, current, and power, and its ergonomic suspension system. All of this is housed in a rugged design with international safety certifications.
