The Telonics TGAVS Solar GPS/Argos Transmitters are designed for avian studies requiring precise GPS positioning and data transmission via the Argos satellite system. Thanks to their solar power supply, these devices offer longer service life compared to transmitters powered by primary batteries. Each unit is fully user-programmable using the Telonics Product Programmer (TPP) software, enabling optimization of data collection and transmission, sensor activation, and management of transmission schedules using satellite pass predictions.
