Wildco Beta Series Horizontal Water Sampler for Trace Metals

Metal-Free Contact Design with Rigid Seals for High-Precision Chemical Sampling

Designed for you to use in shallow or deep waters, this sampler descends horizontally, parallel to the bottom. Just before closing, you pull it sideways, which ensures you get a truly representative water sample for that specific depth. It is ideal for sampling at the thermocline, other stratification levels, or just above the sediments. You can choose this versatile bottle in either transparent acrylic or opaque PVC. PVC is more durable, while acrylic allows you to view the sample immediately.

This sampler is excellent for near-shore trace metal sampling (up to 200 m), as no metal parts touch your sample, avoiding metallic ion contamination that can cause errors in algal assays or productivity studies. It features rigid, white plastic end seals and foam silicone gaskets for a clean, secure closure. Amber latex tubing, which does not leach metals, is used to close the bottle.
