Ideal for Plankton and Sediment Collection with Opaque PVC or Transparent Acrylic Options

This vertical sampler is designed for you to use in mildly corrosive water, marine water, and water with large amounts of suspended or adhesive colloidal solids. Its wide mouth allows you to collect a true water sample without contamination from other water levels. During descent, the open mouth does not restrict water flow, making it particularly suitable for collecting plankton and floating sediments. You can choose this versatile bottle in either transparent acrylic or opaque PVC. The PVC is more durable and less costly, while the acrylic allows you to view the sample contents immediately.

This sampler is not suitable for trace metal analysis (e.g., mercury or phosphorus) due to potential contamination from the materials in its end seals. For precision chemical analysis, we recommend our Beta Bottle water samplers.
