The Basic is a compact ascender that offers an excellent hand grip for ascending fixed ropes. The large lower connection hole allows you to attach the carabiner of the lanyard as well as the foot loop.

• Can be used for fixed rope ascents or as a backstop in a pulley system.
• Toothed cam with a cleaning slot for optimal performance under any conditions (frozen, muddy ropes, etc.).
• Stainless steel cam for better resistance to corrosion.
• Large lower connection hole accommodates two carabiners (lanyard and foot loop).
• Upper connection hole for guiding the rope.
