Designed for rescues, the I’D® L features an ergonomic handle for comfortable descent control, integrated anti-panic function, and AUTO-LOCK system for secure positioning. Compatible with ropes from 12.5 to 13 mm.

The self-braking descender I'D L is primarily intended for technical rescues. It is equipped with an ergonomic handle that allows comfortable control of the descent. The integrated anti-panic function and error indicator cam limit the risk of accidents in case of misuse. The AUTO-LOCK system allows immobilization without having to manipulate the handle or perform a locking knot. Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to manipulate the handle. The closing trigger allows the rope to be installed while keeping the device connected to the harness. The I'D L is compatible with ropes from 12.5 to 13 mm and allows handling loads up to 280 kg.

• Anti-panic function that automatically stops the descent if the user pulls too hard on the handle.
• Allows smooth movement on horizontal or inclined planes.
• AUTO-LOCK system that allows immobilization without having to manipulate the handle or perform a locking knot: as soon as the user releases the handle, the rope is automatically locked in the device. The automatic return of the handle limits the risk of unintentional snagging.
• Automatic handle transition to the storage position when the rope is removed from the device, reducing the risk of unintentional snagging when the descender is carried on the harness.

• Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to manipulate the handle, allowing a lifting system to be converted into a reversible one or easily perform short rope ascents.
• Cam that can be manipulated to easily retrieve the rope or belay a lead climber in climbing technique.
• Screw that allows the movable side plate to be locked to integrate the I'D L into rescue kits.
• Protection reinforcement, made of stainless steel in the rope friction zone, which increases wear resistance.
• Heavy load descent up to 280 kg.
