Harness SEQUOIA SRT: Designed for Arborists Utilizing Single Rope Techniques

SEQUOIA® SRT is a tree care seat harness for ascents on a single rope. It has a ventral attachment point that allows a ZIGZAG or ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical Prusik to be installed with CHICANE and KNEE ASCENT accessories. The extra-wide, semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide comfort for the arborist. It is equipped with DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles on the waistbelt and FAST LT PLUS buckles on the leg loops. The gated attachment points allow the user to easily connect a ZILLON or MICROFLIP lanyard, or to install several attachment bridges and accessories directly on the bridge. The harness also makes it easy to carry and organize work tools, with multiple equipment loops and slots for attaching CARITOOL tool holders.

DOUBLEBACK buckles for adjusting the height of the attachment bridge and allowing the arborist to position him/herself comfortably; the buckles have a plastic cover to help keep them locked

Designed for rescues, the I’D® L features an ergonomic handle for comfortable descent control, integrated anti-panic function, and AUTO-LOCK system for secure positioning. Compatible with ropes from 12.5 to 13 mm.

The self-braking descender I'D L is primarily intended for technical rescues. It is equipped with an ergonomic handle that allows comfortable control of the descent. The integrated anti-panic function and error indicator cam limit the risk of accidents in case of misuse. The AUTO-LOCK system allows immobilization without having to manipulate the handle or perform a locking knot. Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to manipulate the handle. The closing trigger allows the rope to be installed while keeping the device connected to the harness. The I'D L is compatible with ropes from 12.5 to 13 mm and allows handling loads up to 280 kg.

Ease of use:

It has a closing trigger on the movable side plate that allows the rope to be easily installed while keeping the device connected to the harness.
Easy rope installation, thanks to the guide and indicative markings.
Error indicator cam to limit the risk of accidents due to incorrect rope placement.
Ergonomic handle that allows the rope to be released and comfortably control the descent. Two possible descent modes: on the side plate or in the V-shaped braking groove.
Anti-panic function that automatically stops the descent if the user pulls too hard on the handle.
Allows smooth movement on horizontal or inclined planes.
AUTO-LOCK system that allows immobilization without having to manipulate the handle or perform a locking knot: as soon as the user releases the handle, the rope is automatically locked in the device. The automatic return of the handle limits the risk of unintentional snagging.
Automatic handle transition to the storage position when the rope is removed from the device, reducing the risk of unintentional snagging when the descender is carried on the harness.

Usage:

Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to manipulate the handle, allowing a lifting system to be converted into a reversible one or easily perform short rope ascents.
Cam that can be manipulated to easily retrieve the rope or belay a lead climber in climbing technique.
Screw that allows the movable side plate to be locked to integrate the I'D L into rescue kits.
Protection reinforcement, made of stainless steel in the rope friction zone, which increases wear resistance.
Heavy load descent up to 280 kg.

Long connection hole that allows the FREINO Z carabiner to be turned so that the descender is not lost during transfers from the gear loop to the semicircular carabiner.

The self-braking descender I’D S is primarily intended for work at height and difficult access. It is equipped with an ergonomic handle that allows comfortable control of the descent. The integrated anti-panic function and error indicator cam limit the risk of accidents in case of misuse. The AUTO-LOCK system allows easy positioning at the workplace without having to manipulate the handle or perform a locking knot. Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to manipulate the handle. The closing trigger allows the rope to be installed while keeping the device connected to the harness. The I’D S is compatible with ropes from 10 to 11.5 mm and allows handling loads up to 250 kg.

Ease of use:

It has a closing trigger on the movable side plate that allows the rope to be easily installed while keeping the device connected to the harness.
Easy rope installation, thanks to the guide and indicative markings.
Error indicator cam to limit the risk of accidents due to incorrect rope placement.
Ergonomic handle that allows the rope to be released and comfortably control the descent. Two possible descent modes: on the side plate or in the V-shaped braking groove.
Anti-panic function that automatically stops the descent if the user pulls too hard on the handle.
Allows smooth movement on horizontal or inclined planes.
AUTO-LOCK system that allows easy positioning at the workplace without having to manipulate the handle or perform a locking knot: as soon as the user releases the handle, the rope is automatically locked in the device. The automatic return of the handle limits the risk of unintentional snagging.
Automatic handle transition to the storage position when the rope is removed from the device, reducing the risk of unintentional snagging when the descender is carried on the harness.

Usage:

Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to manipulate the handle, allowing a lifting system to be converted into a reversible one or easily perform short rope ascents.
Cam that can be manipulated to easily retrieve the rope or belay a lead climber in climbing technique.
Screw that allows the movable side plate to be locked to integrate the I’D S into rescue kits.
Possibility of adding an additional brake, open or closed, for better control of the descent depending on the load and rope diameter.
Protection reinforcement, made of stainless steel in the rope friction zone, which increases wear resistance.
Heavy load descent up to 250 kg.
Rope compatibility: 10 to 11.5 mm in diameter.

MAESTRO L is a descender designed for technical rescue operations. It facilitates the handling of heavy loads, for lowering or transporting, and can be used both in the primary system and in a backup belay. This versatility allows rescuers to adapt to any situation they may encounter at the rescue scene. The ergonomic handle and integrated braking allow for a comfortably controlled descent. The change from the descent position to the hauling position is immediate, without the need to transfer the load. The integrated progress capture pulley has a large diameter pulley mounted on sealed ball bearings, ensuring excellent hauling efficiency.

The locking system with integrated progress capture pulley allows the same device to be used for descent and hauling.
It can be used both in a simple or double primary system and in a backup belay.
The lower connection point can be used to create different types of hauling systems.
The hole in the handle for installing a remote control cord.

Easy to use:

Easy rope installation, thanks to the markings on the device.
The ergonomic handle allows the rope to be progressively released and provides comfortable control of the descent.
Immediate change from the descent position to the hauling position without having to transfer the load.
AUTO-LOCK system allows the rope to automatically lock when the handle is not in use. Once locked, the rope can be lifted without having to manipulate the handle.

Efficient for handling heavy loads:

Integrated progress capture pulley with a very large diameter pulley mounted on sealed ball bearings; rotates in one direction for excellent hauling efficiency.
The pulley is faceted, creating additional friction zones for the rope and, therefore, additional braking during descents. Integrated brake in the device to adjust friction based on the load and rope diameter. Handling loads up to 280 kg.
Rope compatibility: 12.5 to 13 mm in diameter.
