The Royal Eijkelkamp penetrologger is a versatile instrument for in-situ measurement of soil penetration resistance. This electronic penetrometer comes with a built-in datalogger and memory for up to 1500 measurements.
This lightweight penetrologger of Royal Eijkelkamp is ergonomically designed and can measure up to a depth of 31.4 inch (80 cm). The penetrologger is used to measure the penetration resistance of the soil. The penetration resistance is a means to determine the carrying capacity of the soil and the ease with which roots can grow through the soil. This is important in agricultural, farming, and civil engineering techniques.
With the built-in data logger, the data is easily stored for further processing on your PC. The penetrologger contains an accurate internal GPS system (16 channels GPS receiver) to determine the exact measuring location. The coordinates stored in the penetrologger can be linked to a location or map using software (or less accurately via the Internet). The penetrologger results are displayed in MegaPascals (MPa) and Newtons (N) as a function of depth. The penetrologger also derives the Cone Index (CI).

An excellent choice for long-term water level monitoring in a wide range of groundwater and surface water applications, including wells, lakes, streams, ports, tanks, etc. The standalone Levelogger 5 combines a Hastelloy® pressure sensor, a temperature detector, a 10-year lithium battery, and a data logger with memory for 150,000 reading sets. A single-eye optical interface allows for easy cleaning and more reliable and faster communication. The components are sealed within a 7/8˝ diameter x 6.3˝ long stainless steel housing with a corrosion-resistant baked polymer coating (inside and out). Double O-ring seals ensure excellent leak protection. The Levelogger 5 uses a Faraday cage design to protect against surges or electrical spikes caused by lightning. A Hastelloy® pressure sensor provides more stable readings under extreme pressure and temperature conditions. The Levelogger 5 measures pressure and temperature and displays temperature-compensated level readings and temperature readings. Choose from linear, event-based, or custom-scheduled sampling. The optimized software offers easy data logger programming, and simplified data compensation allows for barometric compensation of multiple data files at once. Absolute pressure (water pressure + atmospheric pressure) is measured and expressed in feet, meters, centimeters, psi, kPa, or mbar. For the most accurate water level readings, use a Barologger 5 (sold separately) to compensate for atmospheric pressure. The Levelogger 5 can be suspended on a stainless steel cable or Kevlar® cord. You can also use an optional L5 direct read cable (sold separately) to connect the Levelogger 5 to the surface for easy data download and reprogramming without removing the unit from the water. Programming the Levelogger 5 is easy. Simply connect it to a PC using an optical reader (Desktop Reader 5 or Field Reader 5, each sold separately) or a PC interface cable. A single screen allows you to complete project information and sampling regime. Configuration templates can be saved for convenient use.
Records water level, temperature, and conductivity. The single-eye optical interface is easy to clean and scratch-resistant. Combines a data logger, an 8-year battery, a Hastelloy® pressure sensor, a temperature detector, and a conductivity sensor in a waterproof 7/8˝ x 8.2˝ housing. A baked polymer coating protects the body against corrosion, abrasion, and high temperatures.
An economical alternative for measuring groundwater and surface water levels, as well as temperature. The single-eye optical interface ensures fast and reliable communication. Combines a data logger, a temperature detector, a Hastelloy® pressure sensor, and a 5-year battery in a 7/8˝ x 6.3˝ stainless steel housing.

Simultaneous ReadingsThe TM500's large display shows CH1 to CH8 or CH9 to CH12 at any given time. Although not all at once on the screen, all 12 readings can be recorded in excellent format (with date and time) on the included SD card. |
Highly FunctionalThe easy-to-use indoor/outdoor TM500 thermometer features user-programmable sampling rates (1 to 3600 seconds) to suit the current application. Additionally, the device's internal memory can store 99 readings, a real benefit when the included SD card is full. |
