The CR1000Xe datalogger performs measurements and control tasks for a wide variety of applications. Its reliability and robustness make it an excellent choice for remote environmental applications, including hydrology and meteorology stations (HydroMet), solar resource assessment and monitoring (SRA/SRM), dams and mines (geotech), and broad research objectives related to environmental systems.
The CR1000Xe is a low-power device that measures analog and digital sensor signals, processes and stores the measurements, and adapts to any type of telecommunications link. It stores data and programs in non-volatile flash memory. The integrated programming language—common to all Campbell Scientific dataloggers—allows users to create solutions perfectly tailored to the application.
The electronics of the CR1000Xe are protected from external radio frequency by a sealed stainless steel enclosure. It includes a low-drift clock safeguarded by a battery that can be synchronized via NTP, GPS, and Campbell Scientific PakBus®. The enclosure and connection panel are joined by stainless steel connectors. The pins in the CPI and Ethernet ports are gold-plated to resist corrosion. The CR1000Xe is compatible with 12 V and 24 V nominal power systems. The datalogger's connection panel regulates the 12 V outputs and includes two switchable 12 V outputs on removable terminal blocks and one switchable 12 V output on the datalogger's CS I/O port.

Given the variety of its channel functions, the CR1000Xe is compatible with almost any sensor, including analog (voltage and current), serial, thermocouples, SDI-12, pulse, and frequency.
The CR1000Xe is compatible with all our multiplexers, vibrating wire interfaces, TIM modules, and relays.
The CR1000Xe communicates directly with a computer via USB port, 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port, mobile telephony, radio, and satellite transmitters (HDR GOES, Argos, Meteosat, Iridium, and Inmarsat).
Data can be viewed locally using Campbell Scientific software for Windows, iOS or Android devices. Additionally, with CR1000KD, CD100, and CD295 display keyboards.
The CR1000Xe and its power supply can be housed in any of our standard enclosures.
The CR1000Xe datalogger can be powered with any 12V or 24V DC source. The most commonly used power supplies with the CR1000Xe are the PS150 and PS200.
Campbell Scientific software is available to program, configure, and communicate with the CR1000Xe datalogger. Several software options are available including PC400, LoggerNet, CampbellCloud™, and CampbellGo™. Consult with our sales engineers to determine the best software or cloud option.
