It is a perfect microscope for a wide range of people, from professionals and high school students to teachers and those with a degree in biology or enrolled in medical school. It comes with a professional Siedentopf binocular head, double-layer stage, coarse and fine focus, LED illumination, and a 1.3 MP USB digital camera. There are six magnification settings: 40X, 100X, 250X, 400X, 1000X, and 2500X. The digital camera captures still images and videos, and allows you to view a live stream on your PC. The included software for Windows offers image development and measurement tools, as well as features such as image stitching and depth of focus. Independent preview and high-speed video capture resolutions let you view while capturing high-definition images. On Mac computers, the camera can be used as a driver-free imaging device, compatible with several applications such as Proscope and Photo Booth. This microscope is an ideal instrument for biological, bacterial, and pharmaceutical research.

The microscope has a super-wide field optical system that provides a very large zoom magnification power (52:1) offering a long working distance (8", 200mm). The trinocular port uses the third port for camera capabilities or for a third person to also view, allowing you to use the remaining two ports to view your sample. Based on the HD200 series, it offers live 1080p viewing via HDMI and you can record 5MP photos and 1080p video directly to Secure Digital media. The internal software provides control over exposure and color, and tools for measurements and comparisons. The addition of autofocus limits the need to make focus adjustments when using the camera as the main observation medium.

Connected to an HDMI monitor or TV, live 1080p video can be viewed at super smooth 60 fps. The included USB mouse allows you to control the camera through its easy-to-use interface. Alternatively, connect the camera via WiFi for remote control of the software, with 25 fps streaming. The included Windows software offers measurement and image development tools, as well as advanced composition features such as image stitching and extended depth of focus. The camera uses a C-mount interface, making it compatible with a wide range of reduction lenses and photo ports.

To customize the microscope for your viewing comfort, the interpupillary distance can be easily adjusted using a Siedentopf precision mechanism. Dioptric adjustment is available on both eyepieces to compensate for asymmetry, and the eyepiece tubes have a 30° angle for comfortable seated use without neck strain. The 23mm photographic port is height-adjustable to align with the eyepieces and can be replaced with an optional CX series C-mount port featuring built-in reduction for direct interaction with C-mount cameras.

The objective turret provides instant access to 4 levels of magnification, making it easy to focus on intricate details from 40X to 2500X. This covers the necessary magnifications for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to enhance resolution and color accuracy.

The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examining specimen slides.
