Victor® Snake-A-Way® granular repellent is an effective solution for keeping away both venomous and non-venomous snakes. Its long-lasting formula temporarily disrupts the sensory perception of snakes without harming them, with a 91% effectiveness against rattlesnakes and garter snakes. It is EPA-registered and applied around the perimeter of areas to be protected, covering from 819 m² to 1.4 hectares. It contains naphthalene (7%) and sulfur (28%) and lasts 2 to 3 months after each application. Ideal for protecting homes, sheds, gardens, and more.

The Jacobson's organ is a special olfactory organ used by snakes that helps them detect environmental stimuli. In fact, the Jacobson's organ is a key survival tool for these reptiles. Victor® Snake-A-Way® snake repellent granules affect the Jacobson's organ, and snakes flee from the now-protected area in search of air free of the repellent.

Sends Snakes Scurrying

Snake-A-Way®’s unique formula works to temporarily disrupt the snake’s Jacobson’s Organ (auxiliary olfactory sense organ), on which a snake relies for its survival. This successfully causes a snake to become disoriented, forcing it to retreat in search of fresh air.

Easy Application

Wearing gloves, spread Snake-A-Way® granules along the perimeter of the area you want to protect to create a long-lasting snake barrier. Once applied, the formula starts working, and lasts until the scent dissipates. To repel rattle snakes, sprinkle in bands 8-12 inches wide, and to repel garter snakes, sprinkle Snake-A-Way® in bands 4-5 inches wide.
