How does it work?

 

 

Absolute filtration of 0.1 microns.

Water filters contain a large number of small 'U' shaped hollow fiber microtubes that trap contaminants while allowing decontaminated water to pass freely at a high flow rate, removing the need to store water and reducing the possibility of contamination of the water after the filtration process

The Sawyer MINI is certified for 0.1 micron filtration, which means there is no larger than 0.1 micron pore size. This makes it impossible for harmful bacteria (such as salmonella or leptospirosis), protozoa, or cysts such as E. coli, Giardia, Vibrio cholerae, and Salmonella typhi to pass through the filter.

All Sawyer water filters meet or exceed the removal rates recommended by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Maximum versatility.

Ideal for outdoor recreation, hiking, camping, exploring, domestic and international travel, and emergency preparedness, the Sawyer MINI gives you multiple ways to access clean water.< /p>

Simply fill the included reusable bag with any water source, screw the filter onto the bag and drink directly from the filter or squeeze the water into a water bottle.

You can also drink directly from water sources with the included straw. For even more versatility, screw the filter onto most standard disposable water or soda bottles, or attach it in-line on hydration packs (sold separately).

100,000 Gallons.

Rated to filter up to 100,000 gallons, the MINI's filtration membranes are tough enough to withstand backwashing with the included syringe, restoring up to 98.5% of the filter's flow rate. filter.

The MINI can be cleaned and reused almost indefinitely without having to replace expensive cartridges... ever. We recommend washing and disinfecting the filter after each outing for optimized use.

Top Filtration.

In addition to the added versatility of being able to fit any standard 28mm threaded bottle or bag, the Sawyer MINI filter provides higher levels of water filtration and lasts longer than other filters personals on the market.

All filters are air tested three times before leaving our production facility to ensure that no pathogens can slip through the fibers of our filter, a statement that no other water filtration company can do.

Tags made of aluminum, steel, copper, or monel for use with species under study. The edges are manually treated to ensure a completely smooth and safe tag for the animal. Ideal for use on ears, fins, and tails. Materials are resistant to rust and corrosion, suitable for humid, freshwater, and saltwater environments.

You can add up to 6 digits for numbering for all sizes; however, for the two smallest sizes, the numbering must appear on both sides.

Tags require an applicator for installation. Color can also be applied to steel or aluminum tags, available only for sizes 23.8 mm or larger. Contact us if you wish to apply color.
