A high-performance bottom collector engineered to capture drop-falling species with exceptional precision. Designed for durability, optimal debris protection, and reliable specimen recovery in demanding field conditions.

The Bottom Collector is designed to fit this trap in order to sample species that fold their wings and drop after striking an obstacle. It is made of black Polyester (96 x 26 mesh per square inch) with a coarse mesh 1.4" x 1.4" grid (3.6 cm) on top to prevent large leaves and twigs from clogging the 500 ml polyethylene collecting bottle. Two bottles with lids are supplied with the Bottom Collector. Funnel dimensions are 39 x 39 x 39" (100 cm). Weight is 0.68 lb (310 grams).
