Power and Versatility in Data Acquisition

The CR1000X Datalogger from Campbell Scientific offers a robust and precise solution for data collection and management in demanding environments, ensuring reliable performance in meteorological, environmental, and industrial applications.

Required Items! 12 VDC power supply

The CR1000X is a flagship general-purpose datalogger, designed for use in a wide variety of measurement and control applications. The CR1000X is robust enough for use in extreme conditions, with reliability that makes it an excellent choice for remote environmental applications such as weather stations, mesonet systems, wind profiling, air quality monitoring, hydrological systems, water quality monitoring, and hydrometeorological stations.

The CR1000X is a very low-power device that measures sensor signals, controls telecommunications, analyzes data, controls external devices, and stores data and programs in its own non-volatile memory. The electronics are protected against radio frequency interference by a unique sealed stainless steel housing. The internal clock is maintained with a backup battery. It is programmed using the high-level CRBasic language, like all our dataloggers, which allows the implementation of routines for data processing and analysis.

Features

  • Operates in extreme conditions, standard range from -40°C to +70°C, and optional extended range from -55°C to +85°C
  • Direct connection to a computer USB port
  • High-speed sampling of analog signals up to over 300Hz
  • High resolution in analog voltage measurements using a 24-bit A/D converter
  • Includes two dedicated measurement channels for 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA signals
  • CPI port for connecting Campbell Scientific distributed CDM modules
  • RJ45 Ethernet port
  • MicroSD card slot for memory expansion
  • Serial communications with devices and sensors via SDI-12, RS-232, and/or RS-485
  • Supports PakBus routing
  • Embedded web page

The CR1000X is a low-power electronic device designed to measure sensor signals, manage direct and telecommunications connections, analyze data, control external devices, and with internal non-volatile storage to save data and programs. The electronics are protected from RF interference and failures within a sealed stainless steel cartridge. The clock is safeguarded with an internal backup battery. The CRBasic programming language—common to all Campbell Scientific dataloggers—allows programming for data processing and analysis.

The CR1000X connection panel includes two software-configurable 12 V output terminals, ground terminals distributed across the 16 analog terminals, and removable terminal blocks.
