    Mechanical counter to quantify water filtered by plankton nets. The main application of the Mechanical Flowmeter is the determination of the amount of water passing through a plankton net. Additionally it may be used in stationary applications such as flow monitoring of rivers and outfalls. They use a three-blade impeller, directly coupled to a five-digit counter which records the revolutions of the impeller.
