Nitex fabric is ideal for you to make your own plankton nets due to its consistency and ability to maintain a precise opening size and shape. Its weave is made of durable, high-quality nylon threads, providing you with greater reliability in your sampling. After weaving, the fabric is satenized (passed between hot rollers) to lock the threads into their exact positions. It is available in a wide range of mesh sizes, from 5 to 1000 µm, so you can build the net according to your specific needs.

You can purchase it in lengths starting from 40 inches (approx. 100 cm) long by 36 inches (91 cm) wide. If you purchase more than one unit, we will deliver the material in a single continuous piece. Each unit added to the cart corresponds to 40 inches in length.
