How it Works

The Folsom plankton sub-sampler provides a quick and easy method for dividing large plankton samples into suitable amounts for later analysis.

This plankton sub-sampler divides samples into two equal halves; this process can be repeated successively until the desired sample quantity is reached.

Design Methacrylate box removable divider Includes 2 buckets for pouring the divided sample; these have been designed to facilitate the subsequent management of the sample. Base can be levelled using 4 manually adjusted screws. The base includes a spirit level to facilitate levelling.
