Chorus: The Wildlife Recorder Built for Any Terrain

Engineered for the most demanding fieldwork, with user-replaceable microphones in seconds and class-leading battery life for wildlife monitoring and scientific research.

The Chorus wildlife recorder is designed to survive the toughest field conditions. Its weatherproof, rugged enclosure and low-profile microphones reduce the chance of livestock or wildlife chewing on them. Even if a microphone becomes damaged, it can be replaced by the user in seconds, eliminating the need to return the recorder for servicing. Simply swap the microphone in the field and continue recording.

The included microphone depends on the version selected at purchase. Every Chorus includes an acoustic microphone, making it ready for recording birds, frogs, and other wildlife straight out of the box. The recorder features dual-channel capability, allowing you to add an ultrasonic microphone for bat monitoring or a second acoustic microphone for true stereo recording. No Bluetooth or external devices are required for setup—the integrated OLED display lets you configure and review settings directly on the recorder, providing greater reliability during remote deployments.

Choose from automatic day, night, or continuous recording schedules, or create fully customized recording programs. Monitor bats at night and birds during the day within the same deployment. Chorus can also record bats in zero crossing mode directly on the recorder, significantly reducing storage requirements during long-term monitoring. Complex schedules with multiple recording tasks are easily created using the integrated Toolbox Scheduler in Insight.

Chorus delivers exceptional battery performance, recording up to 50 nights of full-spectrum ultrasonic monitoring or 350 hours of acoustic recording using only four AA batteries. Like all Titley Scientific recorders, Chorus includes integrated GPS as standard. Every recording is automatically geotagged, sunrise and sunset are calculated for automated scheduling, and Transect Mode can be enabled to record GPS tracks during surveys.
