Petzl Descender for Simple Caving

Designed for caving, the SIMPLE is an easy-to-use descender. It is used with semi-static ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm. With reduced volume and weight, it simplifies progression in narrow passages. The device's lifespan can be optimized by rotating or replacing the pulleys.

• Very easy to use. The descent speed is regulated by gripping the free end of the rope more or less tightly with the hand.
• Rope installation diagram engraved on the descender.
• Closing trigger on the side plate that can be opened to easily install the rope while keeping the device connected to the harness, facilitating the passage of fractionations.
• Long connection hole that allows the FREINO Z carabiner to be turned so that the descender is not lost during transfers from the gear loop to the semicircular carabiner.
• Compatible with semi-static ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm.
